Inspired by a story that is more true than I wish it were.

This comic went to weird places really fast.

What is this? An update that’s on time? I guess that’s what happens when you combine a week off with a long weekend.

For my 300th comic, I decided to do a tribute to Once Upon a Time – a TV show I’ve gotten intoit at the tail-end end of its first season and now I can’t get enough. An array of strong female characters that could hopefully influence my own writing.

And now, for the big announcement.

I’m seeking retirement … sort of. I just can’t keep up with the demands of drawing. I think that’s become fairly obvious from the recent string of late updates, though I am still able to update once a week. However, it is time to face the facts that I’m honestly not that good of an artist, and even if I was, I can’t keep up with a set schedule.

So I’m looking for a partner in crime. I still want to write WCST. And I definitely want to write it more than once a week. I just need someone, you know, with talent, who will be willing to donate their time to the cause. And I use the term “donate” loosely. I’m looking for a full partner in the comic and I would be able to provide a very modest, though with growth opportunities, stipend for working on this. I don’t know where I will search or if I will even find anyone, but I will try my hardest, because that’s the only way I think I will be able to keep this comic alive.

While I start my search I will also be taking one week off, so the next update will unfortunately be bypassed.

The less that can be said about what goes on between the sheets for Darren and Courtney, the better. Which is why this is so so bad.
